What You Need to Know
COURSE START AND FINISH TIMES - WHAT TIME CAN I DROP OFF/PICK UP MY CHILD?
The course begins each day at 9.00am and ends at 4.00pm.
On the Friday there will be a short concert beginning at 3.00pm and ending at 4.00pm. You are most welcome to attend!
DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING LUNCH?
Yes, your child will need to bring a packed lunch and a water bottle. Break time snacks will be provided.

DO YOU HAVE ANY BURSARIES AVAILABLE?
Bursaries are occasionally awarded. Please do contact us to discuss this further.
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR? WILL IT BE SUITABLE FOR MY CHILD?
The course is aimed at all levels of string player. Participants on the course are divided according to ability. The groups are:
Grade 1 -2
Grade 3 - 5
Grade 6 - diploma
WHAT SORT OF ACTIVITIES ARE INVOLVED ON THE COURSE
The players will work on pieces from all musical periods. They will spend most of the time within small chamber groups but will also come together to form a larger orchestra.
Each day there will also be a choir session and musical games to encourage bonding and general musicianship.
